Stolen from tumblr (and edited slightly), because headcanon memes are my fave.

Give me the name of a character I write or have written and I'll tell you:
-What they smell like

Sarah Saywer

What they smell like: Pears and baby powder
How they sleep: on the left side of the bed, hopefully with John's death grip around her, hopefully without a call from Sherlock or Abby having a crisis
What music they enjoy: Sarah prefers talking on the radio to music, but she's happy to listen to John's Motown music, too
How much time they spend getting ready every morning: Ten to fifteen minutes, excluding Abby time
Their favourite thing to collect: Nail polish. It might be a problem.
Their family: I have not given them names yet, but mum, dad, step-mum, step-dad, two older brothers. All of them, minus steps, are doctors of varying specialities.
A weird/obscure fear they have: Being unable to see her feet while she's walking, like while carrying things. The last few months of pregnancy were a bit tricky.
A secret skill: can make Sherlock Holmes eat food.

Dora Holmes

What they smell like: very floral, in a way that's not very noticeable
How they sleep: she's gotten into bad habits from raising her boys, and goes to bed quite late and wakes up early. She sleeps with many pillows, in the center of the bed, on her stomach.
What music they enjoy: classical music, usually provided by herself
How much time they spend getting ready every morning: Twenty minutes, longer if she's decided to have a bath, less if she's decided not to get dressed today.
Their favourite thing to collect: Really unusual souvenirs from the places she's visited, untouristy, less obvious choices.
Their family:
Edward 'Siger' Holmes (husband, deceased)
Mycroft Holmes (son, a sort of government person)
Sherlock Holmes (son, occasionally deceased, a consulting detective)
Trevelyan Holmes (son, he works with computers)

Also, one older sister, deceased, and two nephews and one niece.

A secret skill: deciphering cryptic information from overly protective sons
