Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?

About as much, I'd say. Last year was a stupid amount of fic, and I think living up to that would have been a tall order. Plus, I didn't get as much out of [livejournal.com profile] consci_fan_mo this year as last year, which cut down on my word count.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2014?
Daemons. Oh God, the daemons. I mean, I'd written it before, but...the combination of [livejournal.com profile] joonscribble and I fangirling and brainstorming all over the place made for more of an obsession than I would have called at the beginning of the year. I think I actually talked more about daemons than I wrote for them, but there are as yet unpublished stories.

What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?

I think "Baby Steps" worked out the best in terms of what I was aiming for and what I ended up with. I'm quite fond of that one. And I also am very pleased with how "A New Normal" and "Carry On" turned out.

What's your least favorite story of the year, regardless of the reviews it got (or didn't get)?

I'm actually pretty pleased with what I've written this year. I think my Alec/Molly wedding story wasn't exactly how I wanted it to be in the end, but I'm still happy with it.

Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?

I think at this point, I've done so much weird stuff that nothing feels like much of a risk any more. I just do it. And I'm very grateful people seem to read and enjoy my madness. I love you all!

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?

I'd like to get the epic Trio 'verse story done (seriously, when will it end?!) and I hope to write some Cabin Pressure stuff now that there's a resolution for the cliffhanger. Other than that, just carry on being weird I guess, and hopefully come back for a few more normal stories along the way.
