awanderingbard: (MCU: Howard Stark)

I've been making Agent Carter icons of late, and so looking through a lot of screen caps, and discovered that Howard Stark's lab in LA has arc reactor stained glassed windows:

I totally missed that watching the show, but it's cute. I love those sorts of details. I've also picked up that Sousa's office has a picture of him doing military stuff (presumably before he was hurt in the war, looks like him standing on a truck with a unit). He's also a Brooklyn Dodgers fan, judging by the logo on the baseball cap in his office.

Marvel set-dressings are fun. I completely missed that one! Very clever, though. I wonder: can such a thing still be considered foreshadowing, if the show was created after the applicable movies??

I don't know, to be honest! That's a good point. I think it'd be best categorized as a 'wink'. I doubt Tony purposely created his mini-reactor to look like the windows in a home he may or may not have lived in at some point in his life. On the other hand, Howard Stark is totally the kind of person who, when building the big arc reactor Tony based his mini-one on, would decide to make it like the decor in that one house he owns, because it needs to be pretty as well as functional. Or, Howard designed the windows too, and just has a thing for circles. In which case, I wonder what Mrs Stark's engagement ring looked like... :p
