Happy Birthday to awanderingbard!

Ten years ago on this day, I posted my first entry to this journal. I created the journal on April 27, 2007, but I didn’t post until May 5th, 2007. So, I’m counting today as my tin anniversary.
I’ve been reading through my entries in order over the last few days, and finding it interesting to see how I’ve changed or haven’t changed, and reading some of my very old stories.
I have posted 284 stories (excluding some meme responses which weren’t recorded in fic round-ups), with 7 being original works, 7 being novel or novella-length fics, and the rest being oneshots, drabbles and ficlets. The longest story I’ve written was was 57,092 words long and the shortest was 100 words long.
There have been 4116 comments left on this journal by people who weren’t me. And I’m extremely grateful to everyone who has been around to read my stories and chat with me, especially those who I have literally known for a decade now.
Thanks so much to all of you!
I know LJ is a dying artform now, and that make me sad, but I’m very grateful for the time I’ve had here. In future, should you need to find me in another location, I have a dreamwidth mirror here:
awanderingbard and tumblr, though the latter I don’t post much on, nor do I follow everyone because of the difficulties of curating content on tumblr. I don’t like things to show up on my dash that I don’t want to be on my dash, which is my main complaint about the way it works. I much prefer the LJ option of ‘seeing what this post is about and then deciding if I’d like to look at it’.
You can also find me at my insanejournal icon journal here, should you be desperate.
However, I am going to be around here still, until and unless I can’t be anymore. I've been a bit quiet lately due to health issues and a moving away from fandoms I was writing for before, but I am still here.
Once again a huge thanks to you all! And big huggles to you! \O/

Date: 2017-05-05 03:38 pm (UTC)I miss LJ's heyday. *sighs*
Have you put any of your fic up at AO3? I still have hundreds of drabbles and ficlets that I haven't bothered posting there but it's a nice place to archive some of my longer stuff.
