When you see this, post another CSI/CSI: Miami/CSI: NY quote in your LJ. Let's see how long this can go on.
I love you Flack! Get more screen time.
Speaking of CSI:NY, I missed the premiere on Wednesday, due to seeing RENT. I thought I had DVR'd it but I suspect that I set it to start at 9:59pm and end at 10:02pm instead of 11:02pm, so I only have the teaser and the opening credits. CTV's website doesn't stream it and CBS's website won't let me watch on because I live in Canada. *pouts*
I did end up watching the season premieres of ER (I haven't watched that show in about eight years or so, I have no idea who most of the staff are except for Abby and the nurses) and Grey's Anatomy last night. ER was quite watchable, more so than I remember it being around Season 7, though I see it's still incredibly dangerous to be a doctor at Cook County. Grey's I abandoned in disgust last year, but decided to give another shot and was pretty happy with it. Hottie Soldier Surgeon is Hott. Come back Hottie Soldier Surgeon!

[to a suspect]
Det. Don Flack: You don't call, you don't write... I was starting to think you're seeing other detectives.

Date: 2008-09-26 09:56 pm (UTC)I hope you get to see the premiere! I'll just say that they've stated (in TV Guide) that they're planning to show more of the character's personal lives, and that came through -- one character who's been neglected in that regard got a pretty good shot of backstory.

Date: 2008-09-26 10:02 pm (UTC)Flack's sister is Heather the Werewolf! It took me about halfway through the episode to figure that out. Pretty good casting, she's quite similar looking in the eyes/nose area. It's nice to see some backstory for him! I hope we see more, soon.
It's nice to see Adam get a little more screen time too, I've always loved him.

Date: 2008-09-26 10:05 pm (UTC)Hah! I should have caught that. Excellent. Yeah, I was pleased that he suddenly has family and such -- yay! It took them long enough. ;) When that happened I definitely thought of the comment you'd made about his lack of personal stuff.
Yes! Adam's very lovable. I liked him going to Flack. It surprised me to see him out of the lab! That doesn't happen often.

Date: 2008-09-26 10:13 pm (UTC)I love Adam's 'um, it was wrong and stuff, but I'd totally do it again'. Nice to see him stand firm. Whatever happened to...what's-her-face...Kelcey? Casey? Kennedy? Pseudo-Girlfriend/Roommate...she had a last-name-for-a-first-name...*goes to look it up* Kendall! What happened to her?

Date: 2008-09-26 10:19 pm (UTC)Me, too! That was great. He's so intimidated by Mac, but he's getting stronger despite that.
I don't know what happened to her! I hope she comes back -- I liked her.
