11th Hour needs a fandom, definately.

Dresden/Lie...oh the possibilities!
a thought - if Mai's face is a mask (ref: "your face is slipping"), does that mean her lies would only be detectable if she wanted them to be noticed?
(kinda like a Terminator)

last date while married or last date before marrying? either way, its a good answer (they all are)

Kowalsky...from sg1? I can see that.

Jules Verne does have a fandom, actually.

*tries to imagine a poker game like that*...

Murphy: *watching from the sidelines with the other ladies* "you guys going to bet yet?"
Castle: "in a minute"
Patrick Jane: "interesting choice of words."
*the other two just watch and go "hm"*
Beckett: "hell, they haven't even started playing."

I was sad not too many people seemed interested in it. Rufus Sewell is wonderful and Jacob Hood is one of the few genius/sciencey characters who is also capable of having complex emotions and compassion. I'm sad it didn't get renewed.

That's a good question. Facial expressions are supposed to be universal, so maybe they are the same on a demon face too?

last date while married or last date before marrying?

While married, I think. Sort of the last straw kind of date.

Kowalsky...from sg1? I can see that.

Kowalski from due South, actually (the 2nd Ray), but now that you mention it...I could see SG-1 Kowalsky too.

Murphy: *watching from the sidelines with the other ladies* "you guys going to bet yet?"
Castle: "in a minute"
Patrick Jane: "interesting choice of words."

Beckett: "hell, they haven't even started playing."

LOL! Yes, exactly like that. And then there would have to be a companion fic where all the lady partners get together and compare notes on how to work with geniuses. :-)

>how to work with geniuses. :-)
Murphy: "Liquer."
Beckett: "*nods* Castle definately guzzles the stuff."
Lisbon: "I think it's for us."
*everyone nods sagely*

Really, where? I've only ever managed to find dead fansites and some fic at ff.net

I saw one or two back when I was on yahoogroups.com / onelist.com groups.

not sure if they're still there - I'll look.

you'd have thought of it eventually.

I thought I had more than just this one here (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/saojVERNE-fic), but it's all I could find right away. (there's a few spam posts, though; i'd forgotten how bad it got)

thanks! It looks like it's fairly dead, but with luck I'll find something interesting in the older posts

I think they have a wiki fic archive... or at least one of the mailing lists does. There are a couple of old zines with gen stories and a couple on the Yuletide archive, but that's all I've ever seen.

I'd say it has plenty of fans who'd like for there to be a fandom but very little actual fandom.
