Certainly! I usually write Sherlock more open for this meme than I think he would be. Since most likely he'd just turn the whole thing around on you and start analyzing you instead of answering the questions about him.

I've also granted you high enough clearance to be aware of Trevelyan's existence.

Do you like yourself?

I accept myself. Like is not the word I would use. I know who I am, and good or bad, I accept that that's who I am.

What is your best memory?

That's very vague. 'Best memory' of what? In my whole life? I've lived quite a while now, I have lots of memories, why do I have to rank them? If you aren't going to specify...I'll just choose one that I remember...well. Which is the beach house, in Nice. It belongs to my mother's side of the family. I have a very vivid memory of exploring the tide pool with my father. I think Trevelyan was still a baby, so I must have been young. It's a long time to remember something, so it must be...good.

Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?

Certainly not at school. I never learned anything of use there. My observation skills come from my maternal grandmother and my mother. My problem solving skills probably come from my father. I taught myself anything else I needed or wanted to know, and I keep teaching myself. I like to learn and I don't see how education institutions managed to make the process so excruciating.

Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?

Absolutely not. Love is a sort of chemical reaction our bodies produce when we find a mate we find attractive. There's nothing provable or measurable about love. I think that there are people well-suited to one another which makes withstanding the ups and downs of a relationship more manageable, and perhaps there is only one person in the world who could stand each of us for a lifetime, but soul mates and true love and romanticising it is silly. Marriages last because of work and compromise and luck, not because of some fairy tale epic romance. If people accepted that, there would be less maudlin heartache in the world. Less murder, too, though, so I suppose it's swings and roundabouts.

What makes you laugh?

Cleverness. Word play. Jokes that take effort and don't just rely on a sight gag. John, sometimes. I don't know why. It's not like any of those categories apply to his sense of humour.

While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?

I don't have much experience with other families to know how they get on, but from what I've seen in my case work, I think my family functioned fine. Not normally. Not like most people seem to define 'getting along', but, as a child at least, I don't remember feeling any great...dissatisfaction with them. I would have liked to be only child, of course. Trevelyan was an awful addition to the family, though he's managed to grow up to be tolerable. And from what I understand, my relationship with my mother is better than most have. Mycroft is an arse. They don't take up a great chunk of my life, but I can rely on them. That's...good, I suppose.

Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not?

I don't have children. I admit the idea of passing on genes is intriguing. Like a sort of science experiment, mixing things together to see what you get. But even I know that's no reason to have a child, and I have no skills suited to child rearing and several traits contraindicating it. I don't have the temperament required to devote myself to any person, especially not a child. And anyone would consent to carry one for me, even if I wanted to have one, would be highly suspect. I doubt Mummy will get any grandchildren. Her best hope is Trevelyan, and I don't think he leaves his computer hideout enough to find a partner.

Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?

No one has ever accused me of avoiding conflict.

What is your greatest regret?

I don't believe in regrets; they're a waste of time. I can't change anything. There are things I wish I'd noticed sooner, I suppose, and I could have handled my death better, retrospectively. I might have told John more. But I didn't, and there's no point in feeling sad about it, and I don't think that there was a right way to do that, anyway. I chose the least harm that I could at the time.

What is your greatest weakness?

Boredom. My inability to handle it. Most of the trouble in my life has stemmed from that.

Just a random wondering: What's Dora's occupation in Trio Verse?

Dora is a stay-at-home mum, essentially. She keeps herself busy by picking up hobbies, playing music, painting, and travelling. She spends a large part of her year travelling the world, and summers in France, and she knits and reads books and sculpts and teaches herself new skills and takes classes and probably volunteers for charity things to keep herself busy. When Siger was alive, he only came home on the weekends, so she just sort of entertained herself and did her own thing during the week, if the boys were away at school.
