I know some people on my flist enjoy working from prompts, and I have a pinboard of random things I scroll past on Pinterest that I think are pretty or meaningful or whatever, but I don't know what to do with. So, if anyone needs inspiration, please feel free to drop by and take a look. It will probably grow over time.

Also, for future reference, 'verse launch pages can be found in the sidebar of my blog. Stories are now chronological by in-verse reckoning, and include links to the OTP challenges where relevant. Molly and Alec stories are official in the Abby 'verse.

Sep. 13th, 2013 11:44 amWhen I was writing my Molly/Alec fic, I was trying to figure out what their height difference would look like. Turns out, Daniel Radcliffe has my back. Dan is 1-2 inches taller than Loo Brealey, but probably about the same as Molly in her shoes.
There is also a useful height comparison tool, where you can enter the height of yourself (or one character) and choose a celebrity (one that matches the height of your other character) and it will do a rough comparison of height.

Adventures in Set Design: Q Edition
Jul. 23rd, 2013 12:02 pmQ's flat was the first thing I built, and the reason I originally downloaded the programme, so I could wrap my head around the design for what ended up being "No Rest'. Thus, it's rather more detailed than some of my other designs. Also, it takes forever to render, so the pictures are smaller and less polished, and sometimes I couldn't do anything with the lights and had to go for the less quality settings.
I uploaded some images a while back, but this is the finished version.
Pictures get bigger if you click. Once again, apologies if they are linked back to the album. Photobucket sucks.
